M/s Kartik T. Vayeda & Co. (Chartered Accountants) |
These are the top 25 blogs that I have been maintaining since 1995 (each one begins in a different year, depending upon the various stages of my career as a Chartered Accountant. You would ask the natural question, "Why so many email ID’s ?" – and my answer would come pat "Because I play many roles, of a Chartered Accountant, Webmaster, Financial Consultant, Financial Advisor, Blogger, Wordpress Expert etc.).
Still, I myself am not satisfied with the work that I have been doing since 2009 onwards, so first, let me tell you a little about my Social Media visibility:

One logical question from your side would be, why did I include Excel Trainer Ahmedabad as a social media website and not one of my blogs? The answer is that it was only a couple of days back that I re-invented my role as an Excel Trainer, which I had been following actively from 2009-2021, when I was sitting in my office at A-107, Doctor House, Above Parimal Garden Railway Underpass, Ellisbridge, Ahmedabad-380006, which belonged to my father-in-law, Dr. Om Prakash Gupta, Diabetologist, up until the time that he passed away on April 18, 2021. I reactivated that profile only on 1st January 2025.
Important Milestoes of my career:
I had started by career as a Chartered Accountant, just as soon as I had qualified as a CA on 8th August, 1989, and these are the jobs that I have held in the past:

In July 1995, I quit the Industry and began my practise as a Chartered Accountant under the style and name of M/s Vikram S. Mathur & Co., Chartered Accountants (COP registered in April 1990). For sometime, I remained Financial Consultant to GTCL and had issued a number of CA certificates for their various ongoing projects at their Sanand Factory.
Within a few months of starting my practise as a CA, I joined in an informal partnership with M/s Rajiv I. Ravani, Chartered Accountants upto April 2011, when I became an official partner in the said partnership firm. I left that firm on 24th December, 2012 voluntarily. During this period, we had done various types of audits, finalization of accounts (around 33% of the Audit Reports of the Firm were being signed by myself, as Partner, and some, about 5%, as Proprietor of my firm).
Some of the audits I have participated in during this period where:
- Revenue and Inspection Audits of the various branches of Bank of Baroda, Dena Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Overseas Bank and Canara Bank.
- Stock Inspection Audits of the aforesaid banks, quite a few of them took us to remote locations, such as Unjha, Chhatral, Mehsana, Siddhpur, Rajkot etc.
- Branch Statutory Audit (In my Firm’s Name) of various branches of the State Bank of Mysore, Bangalore (Karnataka State) from April 2004 to April 2008. We would travel to Bangalore in the first two weeks of April each year for ompleting the said audits.
- Statutory Audits of the Firm’s clients from conducting the routine audit to finalisation of the accounts of the clients including managing the Peer Review of the Firm, especially during the last year of my tenure (2011-2012).
Simultaneously, from April 1995 upto September 2009, I held the position of Financial Controller-cum-Statutory Auditor of a private limited company situated in GIDC Vatva, Phase IV, by the name of "CIP MACHINERIES PRIVATE LIMITED". Initially, I was only expected to guide the management consisting of the CEO, Shri Dipak Amrutlal Khambhayata and the Director (Sales & Marketing) Shri Jayesh Amrutlal Khambhayata, his elder brother. From 1995 till about 2000, I was only expected to prepare for the Finalisation of the Accounts of the Company, which included management of the company’s accounts in Tally 72 and signing the Annual Report of the Company, including preparing for the submission of the documents required by the External Company Secretary of the Company on a yearly basis. With effect from April 2001, I was appointed as the Financial Controller of the Company and was required to visit the factory premises on a daily basis, looking to my being an independent partner of a CA Firm, timings were agreed on, to be as flexible as they could be, subject to my availability, as required by the management from time to time. I had been managing the Income-Tax Return submission of the company since the year 1995 itself, up until the time that I took voluntary retirement from my post, sometime in September’2009, almost a year after the untimely demise of the CEO, due to multiple organ failure in August’2008. I may add that I was managing the accounts of the Company along with the Accountant in Tally 45 (DOS Version) from 1995 till the windows version was released in approximately 2003-04.
It was sometime in April 2005 that the company decided to go for a customized ERP system to be build in-house with the assistance of another agency, M/s Neutec Computers, headed by Shri Hetal Shah. I was tasked with the development of all the voucher formats (as Excel Spreadsheets) that were to be incorporated into the ERP system, which included, among other, Cash Reciept/Payment Voucher, Bank Reciept/Payment Voucher, Petty Cash Reciept/Payment Voucher, Sales Invoice (Tax / Proforma), Sales Order, Goods Reciept Note, Material Rejection Note, Credit Note, Debit Note etc. The first version of the ERP System, covering all the sectors of purchase / sales / manufacturing / stores / accounting etc. was successfully implemented by the Company approximately in 2006.
Some of the other responsibilities that I was tasked with in the Company were including (1) Preparation of the CMA Data for submission to Dena Bank on a yearly basis, (2) Staff Recruitment and the management of the Human Resource Planning / Management, (3) Management of the Stock Inspection Audit from the officials of the Dena Bank, along with the CA Firm appointed for the same, (4) Management Information Systems of the Company, as a part of which, I have prepared around 45 different Pivot-Tables based on the exported Sales Register of the Company from Tally 72 software. Last, but not least, I was managing the Direct Taxation portfolio, with a staff of two dedicated personnel under my command from the time that I was appointed as Financial Controller.
I could go on for another few pages about the work that I have done in the past, but I would like to add that I have been programming the Visual Basic for Applications under Microsoft Excel since the first Windows Version of MSOffice’95 was released and am continuing the same under the current Microsoft365 version. I have, in the past created an entire Cashbook System, purely in MS Excel, using the VBA as the back-end. In 2003-2005, I have also created an Income-Tax Return software called Saral2DNew using purely Microsoft Excel. On 8th October, 2024, I have launched my Digital Showroom at https://www.vikramshankarmathur.link and have had the email if vsmathur@vikramshankarmathur.link, now also recognized as an official Microsoft Office Developer ID which I had been using under my emails vsmathur@hotmail.com and vsmathurco@hotmail.com until then. Lastly, I am a recognized Google Developer using my Gmail ID vsmathurco@gmail.com.
